Postby pinball wizard » Wed May 26, 2010 1:34 am

I don't think base supports gamepads, but if found this tutorial of how to get ps3 (or whatever else) controller to work for any game. heres the link, just follow the directions, it's pretty step by step. http://answers.yahoo.com/question/index ... 131AA9ghO1

I wonder if this works for 360 controller, I have the wireless one connected, but it only works with the "games for windows"
Would be good if it doe's work, I keep getting cramp in my arm from tracking

Heh, B.A.S.E. related CTS... thats amusing

You might have to start limbering your arm up before you play if you're not careful...

Hate to be the guy who completely ignores all the humor and stays serious and gets everything back on topic, but i'm pretty sure xbox 360 will only work if it is wired, because it would not work for me.

You need a wireless adapter for it (cost £20) and then a bit of software, I have it all installed but no adapter so :(

Like this, Maybe it would work?

I'm a little reluctant to buy an adapter just on a whim! Have you tried the ps3? I mite borrow a friends controller and try it!

I'm using a Wireless XBox 360 Controller for PC

I set everything up using Xpadder and it worked fine on my desktop, it just didn't register with the controls in game.

I'll see if I can fix it and get back to you....

Edit: Nah, nae luck... looks like you'll have to map the controller buttons into the launcher menu to get it to work.

Not unless someone else finds a solution.

That's really weird it worked fine with me, did you open up the launcher and then map each key to the right button?

edit: the launcher being the part when you open the launcher that lets you change the controls.

I did indeed, I set each controller button to the appropriate keyboard button and it just didn't register in game.

Its quite a common problem with Xpadder apparently...
